It seems I can select a point on a route leaving a dot. How do it disable that?

Cool. However, its a left-over from some kind of route event, and actually a bug. I want to remove the dot.

I wanted to clarify that the dot you’ve observed on the route line is actually an intentional feature. It enables users to establish waypoints for their route. If you’d prefer to disable this, there’s an option within the map element named “Route Interactive”. By toggling this off, the ability to set waypoints by clicking on the map will also be disabled unfortunately.

Appreciated. However, its already disabled, but the dot can still be placed on the route.

We are aware of a known bug where the map element might inadvertently take settings from another Mapbox element on the same page. Rest assured, our team is actively working on resolving this issue.
As a temporary workaround, we recommend disabling the “route interactive” option on all Mapbox elements you have on the page. This should help mitigate the problem until we can provide a permanent fix.
