🥳 Meet Air Native from Zeroqode — the fastest way to convert your Bubble app into Native iOS & Android

Hi @nijuste ,

Thanks for feedback. It is challenging to use the offline mode since Bubble is web-based and requires online to function, but our team is working on this matter to offer a solution.

We’ll make sure to notify you once we announce it!

Best,
Alex

Hey, I have purchased the Air native converter on your site.

I was wondering if I need to connect google analytics separately to the app? If so then how do you do it?
Or
Is it going to display the data on the google analytics of my website itself?

TIA

Hi @VinayRathod ,

We can see there is an already posted request here:

As we can understand it is solved so far.

If you have more questions, just let us know.

Best,
Alex

Hey, thanks, I forgot to update it here…

Anyway, I do have query atm…

Do you guys have a guide as to how to install the various features of the air native plugin and how to use them? I tried searching but couldn’t find anything as such…

Can I use Firebase instead of OneSignal… as I am not able to get OneSignal running even after doing everything in the manual at Bubble and at OneSignal and zeroqode

TIA

Btw, I am stuck at a particular junction… while the docs of Air Native Plugins says that to install OneSignal I need to use Player ID, but till the time the users are not populated, how will I have player ID, and there is no mention of using App ID…

Hi @VinayRathod ,

Sorry for delay  Yes this is right, the way this plugin works is actually into a native environment (which requires the Air Native service that wraps your Bubble app into Android and iOS).

You will have the ability to test the plugin thoroughly, with all its native features, but it is required to set it up as per our docs as well.

You don’t have to go public with our app unless ready to do so. You’ll just have the builds to test the plugin (which doesn’t function in your web app by the way).

My colleague Kate has mentioned it rightly

Let us know if we can help you further.

Best,
Alex

Hey
How will the links open in the app that you create from my website?

  1. Open the link on the phone’s browser :innocent:

  2. Open the way it opens on the webview of let’s say Instagram, with an arrow to send them back to the app :star_struck:

or

  1. Open on the app itself and the user will have to reset the app to come back to the actual app

Hi @VinayRathod ,

Thanks for the feedback. So if you’d like to change the pages inside the app like in your web app, this is the same case with the Go to page actions. It will work natively as well. But if you would like to open a third-party service, it will open as an external website.

Hope it helps.

Best,
Alex

Hey,
I was wondering, can we use GIFs as splash-screen?

Hi @VinayRathod ,

Thanks for asking. For now, the best option would be choosing a simple .png or .jpg with Air Native. Our team is in the process of adding the .gif files for the Splash Screen as well.

I’ll make sure to notify you as soon as it is added.

Best,
Alex

Hello!

I’d like to launch a workflow (changeroute_url) when my user tap on his Android back button. I have this option with the BDK plugin. I don’t see it with your plugin. Do we have this event? Thanks!

Hi @RRW ,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for delayed reply. Unfortunately, it is not possible with our Air Native Plugin.

In case we add such feature, we’ll make sure to announce it!

Best,
Alex

Any ETA on the offline capabilities / storage?

Hi @thinus, thanks for reaching out.

I’m afraid that currently there are no preliminary time limits for adding this particular feature. Sorry about that.
If the plugin will get additional features, we will announce it within this thread for sure:D

Please let me know if I can help with any other plugin-related question

Hi folks,

We just pushed an update to our Air Native plugin and added a new feature that should help you with user retention – icon badge count :tada:

Feel free to use the push notification workflows with new fields that will add/remove the badges:

Hello everyone,

Our Air Native plugin has been updated, and we have added a new element called Air Native Player - hooray! :tada:

This addition enables users to access a native music player at a fundamental interaction level. This means that you can now play and manage your audio files, even if you have exited the native application. To learn more about this update, please refer to our supporting documentation, which can be found at the following link: Air Native Player.

Moreover, for additional assistance, workflow, and setup examples, we encourage you to visit our test demo page: Zeroqode-demo-29 | Bubble Editor

If you need any help or have questions, just ping us - our Zeroqode Support team and we will be glad to assist.

Cheers,

hi @alexandru ,

I am experiencing an issue with the management of notification badge counts in my iOS app using OneSignal. Currently, the badge count correctly increments with each new notification. However, when the app is opened, the badge count resets to zero, and upon receiving a new notification, the badge count starts again from where it left off plus one, instead of continuing from the current count.
I would like the badge count to only decrease when a specific action is performed within the app, and for the badge to remain visible with the correct count as long as there are unread notifications, even after the app is opened.
Could you please advise on how to maintain the badge count upon app launch and ensure it only decreases based on specific user actions within the app? Are there particular settings or methods in OneSignal that I need to configure to achieve this behavior?

In addition, I am using the badge_type parameter with the value Increase and the badge_count parameter with a negative number, however, Onesignal is sending notification and reducing the badge count. Could you tell me how can I reduce the badge count without sending notification?

Hi @nakanishi.tatsuhiko,
Thank you for your message and sorry for the delays over the weekend.

Can you please confirm that the workflow is from the Live Version of your Bubble editor?

As a workaround in case the Increasing negative value does not work properly - you can use badge_type as “SetTo” and as badge_count put the value “1” - when a new Push notification comes - your users will see that they have 1 new notification.

Also to avoid deploying each time the bubble app - you can send a test push notification from your OneSignal Console and play around with badge_type and badge_count values. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hope this helps.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.
Regards, :raised_hands:
