Mysterious case of the disappearing floating group chat bar lol (Daty Tinder-clone template)

Hi everyone,

I had created a similar post regarding this issue in the Bubble forums, but there was no real resolution. Someone was nice enough to be supportive and recommend that I ask in the Zeroqode forums, so here it goes…

I made a backup copy of the Daty template (Tinder-clone), and as you can see in the picture, there is a chat bar:

However, in my working copy, I somehow managed to delete the chat bar:

I’m not sure at all what I did, but as you can see from the Design tab from both apps (both backup and working copy), everything looks virtually identical:

Backup copy design tab (2 pictures demonstrating all the options when scrolling down in the navigation box)…

Working copy design tab (also 2 pictures demonstrating all the options when scrolling down in the navigation box)…

Could someone please help explain where I went wrong, and how to go about fixing it (bringing back the chat bar in my working copy)? Any help would be incredibly appreciated, as I don’t want to have to start all over doing all the work again for this client.

I’ve tried a few things already, by the way:

• copying and pasting the floating group thus creating a second one just to see if it shows up
• making a new floating group and putting the old floating group’s chat stuff contents into the new one
• cloning the entire chat page from the backup copy over to the working copy to replace all the elements

None of these tries worked, and I’ve been stuck for well over a few hours now. Here’s a link to the Bubble forums post for anyone interested - https://forum.bubble.io/t/chat-bar-disappeared/87127/3. Thank you for any help!

I was also able to visualize this floating group chat bar when viewing the app from my mobile phone, but it’s in an awkward position at the top of the screen:

I figured out the problem - the Zeroqode Daty template has a bunch of extra pages that they must’ve been using for past versions of the template --> I WAS LITERALLY ADJUSTING THE FLOATING GROUP CHAT BAR FROM THE INCORRECT PAGE lol
