Hi! I recently installed the OCR - Convert Images and PDF to Text Plugin in my application and am trying to make it work correctly. I’ve configured it for my language, which is Portuguese (set as “port”), and have successfully extracted the text. However, I’ve noticed that the resulting text contains fragmented words or different characters than expected. Interestingly, when I perform a direct test on OCRSpace, the text extraction works accurately and without issues.

  2. The specific plugin plan you’re
  3. The type of file you’re trying to extract, and the extraction result.

Furthermore, according to OCR.space documentation, the code for Portuguese is “por”. Could you confirm if this is the language code you’ve used? Also, could you confirm if you are using the free or paid version of this plugin for Bubble?

Hi, I’ve not even gotten a hold of the plugin
I can’t even extract the text successfully yet
I’ve not seen a proper documentation of the plugin and I’ve paid for it already

While we currently do not have dedicated documentation for this plugin, we’ve made available a demo page and its editor so users can explore and understand its setup. I’m here to guide you through setting it up or questions you may have.

Regarding your query to @Gulce about text to PDF conversion and vice versa:

  • For converting images and PDF files to text within your Bubble app, you can use the OCR plugin for this use-case.
  • For text to PDF, I’d recommend our “Group to PDF” plugin, which turns most Bubble elements into a PDF or high-quality image.
