Ongoing Issue with "Google Sheets - Copy Sheet To Another" Function - Urgent Attention Required

Hello Zeroqode Team,

I am posting here to seek urgent attention and assistance regarding a critical issue with the “Google Sheets - Copy Sheet To Another” function in the “Google Sheets & Charts (Service)” plugin. I have been experiencing the following error:

Workflow error - Invalid request: see error code for details

This issue has caused significant disruption to my application, which relies heavily on this functionality for core operations. My website has been using this plugin for over two years without any issues until this problem arose.

I have been in communication with Igor from the support team, who has escalated the issue to the development team. However, as this problem persists, I am receiving numerous complaints from my customers, and the situation is becoming increasingly urgent.

Key points of concern:

  1. The method google.apps.drive.v2.DriveFiles.Copy is experiencing a 100% error rate, while google.apps.drive.v3.DrivePermissions.Create shows no errors.
  2. This suggests that the plugin might be using an outdated API version, which could be the root cause of the issue.
  3. I have informed my users that the estimated time for a resolution is 24 hours, but without a clear timeline from the development team, managing user expectations is becoming challenging.

Unfortunately, disabling this feature is not an option, as it is integral to my application’s functionality. Therefore, I urgently request a comprehensive review of all plugin functions related to Google Drive, not just the “Copy Sheet To Another” action.

I would greatly appreciate frequent updates on the progress of your investigation and any interim solutions that could help mitigate the impact on my users.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Based on the Google Console access log, it is possible to check the Plugin API calls that have been inoperative in the last 24 hours. The rest work.

In the app, these functions correspond to the following app functions.

Apparently the problem even occurs on the plugin’s official test page.

Hello @italogmoura,

I’ve responded to your inquiries via email, but for clearer communication, please let’s agree to use only one channel—either here on the forum or via email.

I have thoroughly tested each of the API calls you mentioned by you, and they are all functioning correctly and the API versions are up to date and functional. The issues you’re experiencing do not stem from the API version as previously thought.

To help us better understand what might be going wrong in your specific case, could you please provide more details? It would be particularly helpful if you could share screenshots or a screencast that demonstrates how you configure the actions “Google Sheets - Copy Sheet To Another” or others in your workflow. Please include the error message you encounter and what you expect to happen.

Additionally, could you record a video in step-by-step mode showing your process from the moment you open the app to when you encounter the error? Also, check your browser console(image) for any messages, as these can offer more insight into the issue.

Could you also confirm which version of the plugin you are using? Please ensure it is the latest, as we have recently updated all functionalities to be fully functional.

Lastly, please verify that your Google Service Account is still active and check if the error might be arising directly from your keys.

Regarding your other concerns about actions on the demo page, in order to edit, view or perform other actions on a spreadsheet, you must first ensure proper access permissions:

I hope you find this information useful. I look forward to your response.
