PayPal Payouts Plugin

Hi there,

I have a new application I’m building in Bubble. I am trying to pay out my contractors based upon an agreed amount per job.
The payouts amount I’m submitting to payout to my providers in their account is different by .50 on every transaction. Has anyone seen this before?

We are the zeroqode bubble plugin for the payouts, and the amount we are indicating to send is definitely spot on.

For example on this first one(in the screenshots below) where we are trying to send $467.50 and PayPal sandbox recipient area is only showing $467? Why are they all off by $0.50?

Can anyone help with this?

Hi @editor,

We have taken a look at the plugin settings, and the reason you might see a difference between the paid amount and the amount of money in your PayPal account is because of the fees PayPal automatically adds to a transaction.

Please look at the following link which shows the transaction fees and various other useful information.

This plugin does not interfere with the PayPal fees, but the “PayPal payout” action returns information about how much the fee was, which you can integrate into your app for your users to know.

We hope this information has been helpful, and if you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via our forum at forum.zeroqode.com or directly via email at support@zeroqode.com.

Wishing you a great day ahead :slightly_smiling_face:

Best Regards,
Daniel.

Hi @Daniel.P

I ran another test with a amount that did not include a decimal. $850.
For this transaction. The dev sand box account received the entire payment. This leads me to believe that it might be an issue with the payment amount from the plugin only sending the first part before the decimal. Are you able to check this?

I’ve attached a few screen shots to show you what I’m talking about.

Hello @editor,

Could you please specify if you are using an element (PayPal buttons) of the plugin or an action (PayPal PayOut) in the workflow to make payments in your app?

Thank you for your cooperation!

Best regards,
Daniel

@Daniel.P We are using the action PayPal Payout.
