PDF Conjurer - Advanced Table not working

Hi, I am new to this plugin and trying to set up an advanced table since I need to create a table containing images. However, I get the same error in my app and the plugin demo app when trying to create advanced tables with or without images. Is this some bug that needs to be fixed or something that might have changed in a recent update that hasn’t been updated on the demo app?

Here is the error I get on both apps:
Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘toLowerCase’) at turnStringIntoTextObject

Hello @jeanpstad,

Thank you for reaching out to us, and our apologies for the late reply over the weekend.

Regarding your question, the most probable cause of the pop-up appearing is that there are some empty fields in the “Add column into advanced table” action. Specifically, could you please try setting a value for the “Text body style” and “Header style” fields and see what the result will be? (You can set any text value, e.g., “Roboto”.)

Nonetheless, I have forwarded this concern to our development team to further investigate the cause of the pop-up appearing, and I will let you know when there is any more information available.

Thanks again, and looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Stephan! Thank you very much for the fast reply! That was the problem and it fixed the error, now the table is working fine, thank you. Please consider fixing it also in the demo editor so it works correctly there too.
On another topic, the images to put into a table have to be set to public in bubble for the plugin to be able to retrieve them? I have been trying different things and I’ve seen the plugin uses a function called turnUrlIntoImage so I’m guessing it has to be public.
Thanks!

Hello @jeanpstad ,

Thanks for your message.

Yes, definitely, we are currently troubleshooting to find the cause of the error appearing so that in the next plugin version it won’t appear anymore.

Regarding using the images, yes, they must be public so that the server will be able to access them and use them in the generated PDF.

Thanks again for your observation. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach us anytime.

Best regards,
Stefan
