I have this plugin installed:
Its working for the full page, but when I add an element id (specifically the footer) to the “ignored elements id” feld. I get this error:

Apologies for the late reply. 
Basically, you need to assign IDs for both elements that you want to ignore in the PDF and add those IDs to the plugin action. Here is an example:
