Hello,

I subscribed to your PDF plugin today and it works pretty well. My page has some pretty large repeating groups, and if I have no page breaks, it renders to a PDF in about 5-6seconds (pretty awesome). However I have 10 pages worth of PDF’s, and with those 10 pages it takes 1min 20seconds with the required page breaks.

I have tested and if I only use 4 breaks, it takes half the time, so it is pretty linear. I don’t have any images, it is only dropdowns, and text/input boxes. No gradients, and no buttons.

Are there any optimizations I can do to make this more reasonable?

Below is an example of the data in the RG’s and plugin settings. The single element is a group that has two RG’s in it (that each have about 75 rows).

I am just surprised that creating the entire thing takes 6 seconds, but 10 pages takes about 12 seconds per page when you split them up.

I appreciate any tips or assistance you can offer (but I am not comfortable with allowing access to my app at this time). I would also be willing to discuss custom code adjustments for a fee to speed this up for my specific requirements.

Maybe some behind the scene optimization like changing the plan of the app, something like purchasing additional units could work. I believe changing user experience could another factor of optimization, which consists of breaking down the 10 pages of data, in smaller chunks which will be printed faster.
I’m afraid we can not help you currently with the application optimizations. The plugin is working as intended and as with every script out there, there things out of control.
