PDF Print Plugin Not Working

The PDF plugin is not functioning as expected. While the file is successfully generated and downloadable, the document formatting is significantly different from the intended layout and does not meet the expected output standards. Please review and rectify the formatting issues to ensure that the generated PDF accurately preserves the original document structure, alignment, spacing, and overall presentation.

Hi @shaurya.singh ,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To give you full visibility into what happened, the issue was caused by recent security maintenance where we rotated our service access keys and rebuilt the server environment. During this process, two server-side issues temporarily impacted PDF generation:

  • Temporary Export Errors: Immediately after revoking the old access keys, the service temporarily failed to save generated files, causing exports to end in errors.

  • Missing System Fonts and Assets: After fixing the export error, the new build temporarily lacked a package of standard system fonts and assets. As a result, non-Latin scripts (such as Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and Arabic) appeared blank, standard fonts like Arial and Verdana were substituted with different font widths that shifted layout alignment, and some external styles or images failed to load.

Both issues have been fully resolved on our servers. Since PDF generation takes place entirely on our infrastructure, you do not need to update your plugin version, clear your cache, or refresh the page - simply running the export again will work correctly. While most plugin functionalities are restored, we are actively working on resolving a few minor, specific use cases as well.

Please let me know if you notice any remaining issues or if you need further assistance.
