Hello everyone! :wave:

We are excited to announce a brand new update for the Camera Capture and Video Recorder plugin! Based on recent feedback, we’ve just rolled out Version 1.55.0, which introduces highly customizable camera filters to your media capture workflow.

You can now apply various visual effects directly to your live camera feed and save them directly to your finalized photos and video recordings!

Here is what’s new:

New Visual Filters: You can now apply multiple effects to your camera element, including Grayscale, Sepia, Blur, Brightness, Contrast, Saturate, Invert, Vintage, and Warm.
Filter Intensity Control: We’ve added a new Filter intensity field to the element, allowing you to dynamically adjust the strength of the visual effect (perfect for pairing with a slider element!).
Workflow Integrations: We’ve added a new Apply filter checkbox to the “Take picture with” and “Start recording” actions. This allows you to easily dictate whether the visual filter on the screen should be permanently applied to the final saved photo or video.
We have already updated the plugin’s demo page so you can test out the new filters and intensity sliders for yourself.
