Plyr Plugin Bugs

Hi Zeroqode team!

I love your plugin “Plyr”, however, there are a few bugs I need to have fixed, please:

  1. When I go into fullscreen mode, and then come back out, the video frame is extremely small. See video here: Screen Recording 2021-12-13...

  2. When I try to change the colors in the property editor, the color remains blue. See video here: Screen Recording 2021-12-13...

As for the bugs, we always strive to improve and fix the bugs asap. We have tested the plugin on our demo page and it looks like there is no glitch with the fullscreen, but there is definitely a bug in the change of colors, so we will fix it asap. Therefore, can you please provide the screenshots of your plugin setup, also when you preview the app can you have your console open so we can see the errors that you get. Additionally, what device and browser are you using when you get this full-screen glitch?

Note: these details will greatly help us to resolve the plugin issues as soon as possible.

As for the first issue with the full-screen glitch, we have tested it on our side and everything works well, but when converted to the new responsive engine the full-screen glitch appears to happen. At the moment we are not converting all of our plugins and templates to the new responsive engine because it is still in beta and there are many things that are still being changed, therefore we are waiting for Bubble to have an official release of the new responsive engine.

Regarding the problem with the color change, the issue has been sent to our developers and it will be resolved soon. I’ll give you an update as soon as the issue is fixed :slightly_smiling_face:

Since this fullscreen bug is a serious detriment to my app, can you possibly add an option to REMOVE the fullscreen option altogether?

I have discussed the possibility of removing the full-screen option with the developer, and unfortunately, it is not possible because even if there is an option to hide full-screen controls, the double click will still trigger the full screen.

As for the question with Wasabi, If I understood you right, you would like to paste the link from the Wasabi into the Plyr plugin and be able to see the video? The plugin can already do this if you need it. Please let me know if you meant something different other than what I described. Just make sure you are using the direct link to the file (that contains a file extension, like .mp4, etc).

And thank you - Wasabi wasn’t working yesterday, but it is today! Maybe it’s cause I was on a trial account yesterday.

As for this video height shrinking bug in responsive mode, is there any way I could pay your team to provide a fix now?

As for the video height shrinking bug, I have discussed the issue with our developers and soon they’ll be starting to work on this issue, we understand that it is an important function for you, therefore I will provide an update as soon as I have more news on the issue.

There is no option to pay us to resolve the issues faster, we take each case seriously and try to resolve our users’ issues as soon they come.

We’ve discussed the issue internally, and unfortunately, we can’t fix the full-screen glitch right now. As I have mentioned previously, the reason we can not fix that issue now it is because of the new responsive engine, that is on beta version. We will definitely fix this issue and adjust the plugin to the stable responsive version once Bubble rolls it out.

We’ve contacted Bubble regarding the new responsive engine release, and currently, we are waiting for their reply.
