Plyr Video Player not resizing the video properly on full screen

Hi, I’m experiencing the issue where my video doesn’t resize properly on full screen using the Plyr video plugin, leaving a huge black space.

I checked the demo, and everything seems to be working fine there. Please refer to the demo and try to replicate the configuration in your setup as closely as possible: Zeroqode Plyr Demo.

Here are a couple of things to double-check:

  1. Parent Container Size:
    Make sure the parent container has a flexible layout and not a fixed size. A fixed-size container may prevent the video from resizing correctly.
  2. Plyr Element Layout:
    Similarly, ensure the Plyr element itself also has a flexible layout, rather than a fixed size.

If the issue persists after checking these, could you please provide the following information:

  • Screenshots of your Plyr element setup and the related workflow.
  • Device/Browser version and combination you’re testing on.
  • Screenshots of Debug Mode output by previewing the app with debug_mode=true in the URL.
