I am developing an app where a user will upload videos and other users will view it. As of now, I am using video.js where a thumbnail has to be uploaded separately along with the video. My requirement is as follows: When a user uploads a video, a thumbnail should automatically be generated from the uploaded video and should be displayed in the video player. Does plyr support this? If not, could you please suggest some other video player that support this feature?

I have tested the Plyr plugin functionality to check if it will generate automatically thumbnails for videos.
You can check the screenshot, and follow this page to test it for yourself. On the left side of the page you can find the instructions, if needed.
