Popup alert plugin modifying padding properties of my app

The “popup|Confirm A” element of this plugin is altering the padding properties of one of my group elements as a result of which the group is appearing at the left edge of the screen. Please check this 90 sec video

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Note: This is infact a bug that I reported to Bubble team who investigated and confirmed that the culprit is the “popup|Confirm A” element in this plugin.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @rajesh79719,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I have further investigated the concern you reported and noticed the problem as well: the plugin elements are indeed altering some of the page’s CSS styling, which should not happen. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause for you. I have already forwarded this concern to our dev team to further investigate and provide a resolution promptly. I will let you know when a new version is ready for you to check out.

Thanks again, and if you have any other questions in the meantime, please let me know.

Have a great day ahead!

Thanks for quick response, Stephan. May I ask generally how long does launching a new version could take for issues like this? Asking because I’m close to launching my app (probably a week to 10 days), and I’d love to get an idea on whether I should wait for the fix or look for other solutions.

Appreciate your kind understanding!

Hello @rajesh79719,

Thank you for your question!

We strive to fix any glitches and update our plugins promptly. In this case, the update should be ready in less than one week. I have asked the development team to prioritize it if possible, and I will keep you informed of any news regarding its progress.

Thank you for your understanding. I wish you a great weekend ahead!

Hello @rajesh79719 ,

Hope you’re doing well.

I am writing this message to follow up on our previous discussion about the Popup alert plugin modifying CSS properties. Our development team has identified the source behind these modifications, however, we didn’t manage to reproduce the case shown in your video where it changes the margin/padding.

To ensure the changes we make will fix the problem in your app, could you please add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators in your application and share the app’s link with us? By doing so, we will be able to examine your page settings and replicate them on our end to make sure the modification will fix the problem in your case.

To add our Support Team as a collaborator, please follow these steps in the Bubble Editor: Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com.

Also, please share any instructions on how to access that page, including any necessary passwords or steps required to see it.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello @rajesh79719,

Thank you for your message and for sharing the app.

We have received your email and were able to access the page to investigate the issue further. Our developer discovered that an element with the .row class is added at the root of the page without any margins set, causing margins from the plugin’s Bootstrap to be applied instead. We will fix bootstrap css library which should most probably fix the problem.

I will let you know as soon as a new update is ready for you to test.

Thanks again, and have a great weekend!
