Potential Conflict between Air Date/Time and AWS Uploader Plugins

I’ve built my app with AirDate/Time picker for over a year - very happy with it. However I’ve recently added the AWS Uploader plugin into the mix and when I add the multi-file upload element onto a page with Air Date/Time on the page the Date Time picker moves to the top left of the screen and is no longer usable.

If I remove the AWS Uploader elements the Air Date/Time Picker functionality returns to normal.

If someone could advise on a possible resolution to this it would be hugely appreciated.

Hi @gekko.in
Hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend to the fullest :slightly_smiling_face:

After carefully reading through the details you’ve provided, could you please confirm which plugin exactly was added that caused the issue? AWS Uploader or Multi-file upload.

Also, please let us know the version of the Air date time picker plugin, try updating to the last version, replace the plugin element on the page and let me know if that solved the issue.

Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards

Hello, Thank you for the response.

I’m using AWS Uploader. Both plugins were on the latest versions (and I’ve just updated them again). I’ve created a new field for testing (there are workflows attached to the existing ones).

I’ve duplicated an a non locked down copy of the page so you can take a look:

Hello @gekko.in
Thank you for your prompt reply. :slightly_smiling_face:

I opened your app page and tried to select a date, but it looks like it’s not enabled, probably because I’m not logged in.

Can you please provide in addition to the test page, step-by-step instructions on how to replicate the issue on our side, and the specific order of actions to follow? Also, the credentials we should use to log in, and access to the debugger.

Thank you for your cooperation, I’m looking forward to hearing back from you
Best regards,

Did you look at the top left of the screen? This is where the date picker is appearing when the AWS Element is on the screen?

If you navigate to

And click on any of the date picker options - I would go for “TEST DATE TIME” the date picker pops up at the top left hand corner and generates the following error in the debug view:

Happy to provide collaborator access

Actually I can’t with my subscription level apparently, and it’s locked to my Google account with 2FA enabled so I can’t even send my log in details. Annoying.

Hi @gekko.in,
Thank you for your reply and additional details. :slightly_smiling_face:

I have passed this information to our dev them, and as soon as I have any news from them I’ll make sure to back to you.

In the meantime can you please provide screenshots and screencasts of your workflow setup, plugin element, the issue you see, and the expected result, for screencast recording I can suggest using the Loom tool.

Please record a video in step-by-step mode with the browser’s console enabled, in case there are any error messages there, and share a link with us so we can understand better your use case.

These details will help us reproduce your setup on our side in the absence of the credentials and look into it.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we are working through this
Kind regards!

Hello.

I’m just running some tests on this now. I can confirm that the date picker is now available while the file element is on the page. However the functionality of the file upload itself seems to have changed. The files aren’t currently uploading into AWS and I’m not currently sure why. Has the option to instant upload been removed?

Donna

I worked out the difference was the mime type - I had image which worked previously but now I’ve changed it to image/* and it’s working again now.

Looks good - thanks for working towards a resolution - much appreciated.
