QR Code scanner issue?

Hello !

I bought the QR Code scanner plugin. I tried to implement like on the demo, check the documentation but can’t figure how to solve my issue.

What I did :

When I scan a QRCode, the qr is scanned, the image freeze, and the bip is biping again and again and again… infinitly.

When I did it “step by step” in debug mode, it’s working fine.

What do I miss ?

Thank you @levon

Hi @sarahesteve, thanks for reaching out.

Could you please tell me on which device you are testing the plugin?

In case you are testing it from an iOS device, kindly note that currently, plugin is not supported for all devices with iOS 14 or higher. So it is required to use for testing a device with a different OS.

Looking forward to your reply.
Regards,

Hi @sarahesteve, thanks for letting us know that issue has been solved.

Also, allow us to mention that we’ve made an update to the QR Code plugin, which fixed the issue with QR scanner on Android.

Please upgrade the plugin to the latest version (1.21.0 - Fixed a problem with the scanner on Android OS"), refresh the application, and give it a try.

If there is anything else that I can help with about our plugin, please let me know, I will be glad to help.
Regards,

nice, thank you. do you know if you wall do somethin for ios 14 or higher ?

I 'm afraid the plugin doesn’t work on some devices as the app is public

Test on ios 14.6 it works but other I don’t know

Hi @sarahesteve, apologies for the delayed reply.

According to the latest information, the plugin should be working on devices that have iOS 14 and up. Kindly note, that on iOS devices, the plugin works only on Safari browser (as this is the only browser with allowed access to the device’s camera).

To increase the successful recognition of the QR code by the plugin, please make sure the QR code you are scanning is having normal resolution, is normally lit (adequate lighting) and there are no visual flaws that might prevent the plugin from detecting the QR code.

Please let me know if I can additionally help you with any plugin-related question.
Regards,
