Questions About Limitations in Free Version of "Air Date/Time Picker" Plugin

Subject: Questions About Limitations in Free Version of “Air Date/Time Picker” Plugin

Dear Zeroqode Team,

I’m currently using the free version of the Air Date/Time Picker plugin for Bubble, and I’ve encountered a few issues I’d like to clarify.

  1. In the free version, the calendar UI does not display the OK, Clear, or Today buttons that are visible in the demo version. Are these buttons available only in the Pro version?
  2. While I can select multiple dates in the free version, the selected values do not get saved to the database, regardless of the field type (date, list of dates, or text).
Is this a bug, or a known limitation of the free version?
  3. I would like to store dates without year and time (only month/day).
Does the Pro version allow setting a display format that excludes the year in the calendar or stored data?

I would appreciate your clarification on whether these features are supported in the Pro version.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

HI seokju5,

Thank you for reaching out! We’re glad you’re enjoying our Air Date/Time Picker plugin.

I reviewed your questions, and here’s a list of responses for them:

  1. The calendar buttons (OK, Clear, and Today) are also available in the free version. To enable them, in the ‘Appearance’ tab of the plugin element, scroll down and make sure that the ‘Enable calendar buttons’ option is checked. You can configure each button individually there.

  2. The calendar can output date, list of dates, or ranges of dates, however it doesn’t have a built-in action to save these outputs to a database. To achieve this functionality, you have to set up a separate workflow in which you have to either ‘Make changes to a Thing’ or ‘Create a new Thing’. You have to pass the value from your calendar to a field in the database.

  3. The free version allows you to set up a custom date format, for example as dd/MM, and you can display it this way in your app/website. However the date will be stored in the database completely, including the year, this cannot be bypassed, since its the way Bubble handles ‘date’ data type. The year will also be visible in the popup of the calendar.

If you’re interested in switching to the PRO version of this plugin, you will get the following benefits:

  • Mobile Optimization & Performance - higher responsiveness and better loading times
  • Customization - match your app’s branding and add animations
  • Usability and flexibility - implement dynamic features and control the calendar’s visibility for a cleaner look of your app.

Hope this helps!
