Quickbooks - initial auth code exchange

Hi,
I have a question about initial auth code exchange data call - where I should get this code parameter from? It seems to be Authorization code, but after login the only thing I’m getting back in url is realmId so where can I get it?

Other question is about refresh token which is one of the parameters which we get from that call is that refresh token last 100days or shorter?

Hi @pawel.magdanski,
Thank you for reaching out.

From the provided screenshots I assume you are using the QuickBooks Accounting Sandbox Plugin, there you can insert only the App ID and App Secret Keys.

Compared with the paid Quickbooks Accounting Plugin where you can also add initial auth code exchange client_ID and client_secret to be able to retrieve this information on a Production level.

For the Quickbooks Accounting Plugin, the Refresh Token lasts for about 24 hours. Please check out the Quickbooks Oauth 2.0 Plugin, it allows you to use 1 company account and stay authed for 100 days.

Hope the above information will be useful for you.
If you require any further information, let me know.
Best regards,

Hi, can someone please help me here?
I have the same issue as @pawel.magdanski but the only answer doesn’t solve the problem.

Hi @charleslcts,
Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please provide more details like debugger/browser console screenshots (maybe you are getting some errors there), and a video recording showing the issue and your setup? This will allow us to identify any possible issue much faster.

Thanks again! Looking to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Gulce
