Quickbooks integration

Hi Zeroqode team! I want to intagrate Quickbooks to Bubble

First of all, the goal is for each client of the application to be able to connect their Quickbooks account and manage it through the application
Please tell me if your plugins is suitable for my purpose (the ability for different clients to connect their account)

Secondly, I have follow tasks from my client:
We will need to send income and expenses to Quickbooks.

  • Income will be loads income, works the same way as income is categorized in the Financial section. (it will be numbers (amount of order))
  • Expenses are expenses created by the users in the Financials section of the app (date, amount, description). Make sure when new expense category is created they are also sent to quickbooks and categorized there.

I will be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance!

Hi @alesya.m,
Thank you for your message, we appreciate your interest in our products.

The Quickbooks Accounting Plugin, should be suitable for your purpose.

It’s a powerful collection of QuickBooks services that allows you to manage your business directly from a Bubble app. This plugin connects your QuickBooks account with your Bubble application, enabling the creation of new accounts, granting access privileges, and managing QuickBooks data. Your clients can easily log in and work with their QuickBooks accounts directly from your app.

For additional information about the plugin and how to successfully integrate it within your Bubble app, please check the supporting documentation here: https://docs.zeroqode.com/plugins/quickbooks-accounting-sandboxproduction-plugin
and the plugin demo editor page here: zeroqode-demo-10 | Bubble Editor

Within the editor’s Plugin tab, there is an extensive list of Data Calls and Plugin Actions available for use in your Bubble application. Every action is accompanied by a link to the Quickbooks developer documentation page, providing more information about each specific action or data call.

In case you’re uncertain about the plugin, our recommendation is to subscribe and test it out. You’ll incur charges only for the days you use it, with the fees being appended to your monthly (or annual, if you’re on a yearly plan) billing, calculated on a prorated basis.

For a one-day plugin subscription, your charge would be the plugin’s fee divided by 31. Therefore, if the plugin doesn’t suit your needs after a few days, you can simply uninstall it without incurring a significant cost :slightly_smiling_face:.

Hope this helps.
If you have other questions, let us know.

Have a great weekend ahead.

Hi! thank you for the information provided!

I saw that the “Connect quickbooks” action is a registration/login to the application using a social network. Such an action is not suitable for us, since the user will already be in our application under his account of our app.
In our case, when connecting a quickbooks for a user, we just need to get the realID to save it and use it in the future for user actions.

How can you help in this case? Thanks in advance

Hi @alesya.m,
Thank you for your reply.

On Our demo page, we use Bubble action Signup/login with a social network and select the OAuth provider as Quickbooks.

Once user logs in with his Quickbooks account he can retrieve the Quickbooks information and make changes to it from your Bubble app by using the plugin actions and data calls.

For a successful integration of the plugin, I recommend referring to the supporting documentation and the plugin editor page.

If you have other plugin-questions, please let me know.
All the best,

Hi!
I reported above that this option is not suitable, since the user will already have HIS OWN account in my application (not through a quickbook of course)
re-registration in this way will lead to an error, do I understand correctly? I just need a quickbooks connection, not a login

Can you suggest something in this case? Thanks!

Hi @alesya.m,
Thank you for your reply.

In order for users to view their Quickbooks account within your Bubble app, they need to authenticate. I don’t think there should be any issues for the users who are logged in inside the app already.

You can have two buttons, one for Sign-up/Log-in within your app and another button to Connect Quickbooks account.
I’m afraid there is no other way to display QuickBooks info without authenticating first.

There is a very convenient way of trying the plugin without paying much.

If you are on paid plans you can subscribe to a plugin and use it for 1-2 days or any extent of time that you wish- when you subscribe to a plugin you pay only for the actual number of days you used it and not for the full month. The fee is added to the monthly bill (or yearly if the user is on a yearly plan), and the amount is prorated. If you subscribe to a plugin for one day you’ll end up being charged for this plugin fee / 30, so if it doesn’t work for you within a few days you can uninstall it and it won’t cost you much.:slightly_smiling_face:

Hope it helps.
Have a great weekend ahead.

Hi @alesya.m,
Thank you for getting back to us, and sorry for the delayed reply over the weekend and holiday season.

Here you can find the list of available plugin Actions:

and Data Calls:

If you navigate to the plugin demo editor page, you can find all of them on the plugin tab and check each data call/action documentation.

I would recommend you check the list of all available data calls and actions to ensure you can achieve your use case.

Also, you can subscribe to the plugin and test it more within your app. You will be charged only for the actual days used, the fee is added to the monthly bill (or yearly if the user is on a yearly plan), and the amount is prorated. If you subscribe to a plugin for one day you’ll end up being charged for this plugin fee / 31.

In case you have other plugin-related questions or need further clarification, please let me know.
