On the desktop version of the Site, the Image slideshow shows the Images in full quality and size, but on the Mobile version it has a Harsh crop

Hello there @yabets.t, so on we have two kinds of solving the issue:
First one is to add in the highlighted group one more group which should be collapsed on small resolutions via conditional, but you have to make some calculations to understand which height should be this group, and which width should be minimal for condition.
The second one is much easier, to add in your app the Image processing using Imgix plugin. And for displaying to use the result of plugin processing.
