Repeating Group Row Cuts Off with PDF Converter and Print Pro

Hello! Both plugins are set to print a specific element. Within the element, there is a repeating group with a number of rows that the user sets. Each row is a math problem. As you can see in the images, both plugins are causing the math problems to get cut in half. I have tried adjusting the appearance, but the end result really varies depending on user inputs.

Is there an HTML solution to this? Or another solution?

Thanks!

Hello @anniewilcoxnh,
Apologies for the late reply.

Unfortunately, the Print Pro plugin does not have a specific “page breaker” function that can prevent the undesired cutting of content. It is designed to automatically determine when to insert page breaks based on various factors such as page format, orientation, custom margins, headers/footers, and content.

As for the PDF converter plugin, there are only 2 ways: break the document into pages on each cell, or let the plugin break the repeating group content into pages, oriented on the page size (which leads to chopping cells like in your example).

However, as I understand correctly you can’t break the document into pages on each cell because you have elements other than RG. In this case, it may be challenging for the plugin to have accurate page breakpoints since it’s pretty unpredictable. Therefore, the best option is to convert the page without any page breaks. You can indicate the width and length of the current page in the custom format field so the plugin will generate PDF without any page break (it will be one page).

Please let me know if I can try to help you with anything else.

Best,
Gulce
