Repeating Group Scrolling Position Detector - New Plugin from Zeroqode

Hey Bubblers,
we have published a new plugin

Detect the current scrolling position of the repeating group. Use case: set a custom state to show only 10 items in your repeating group, once the scrolling positing approaches the end of the repeating group, change the custom state to show 20 items etc. This makes loading of repeating group much faster and smoother.

Thank you for the quick response here. A number of reviewers of this plugin on Bubble marketplace indicated that it did not function in RE’s. Has the plugin since been updated? Just want to be sure before purchasing.

Hi @ts1, thanks for feedback. Yes, the plugin is up-to-date and works properly within Reusable Elements. We tested it again and there are no issues on our side.
You could subscribe for a day or two, and give it a try.
If you subscribe to a plugin for one day you’ll end up being charged for this plugin fee / 31. If something does not work for you, please report!

Hello! Thanks for this amazing plugin. Im trying to detect whether the user scrolls back or force, to trigger and audioplayer next and previous sound, to keep the playlist in sync with the RG.

Im trying to save the current position into a state and then detect if the current position is < or > than state. But its REALLY driving me nuts :slight_smile:

Would it be an idea for you to include a trigger event when scrolling goes either left or right? Im using this as horisontal RG? That would be an amazing

Perhaps you can try to work with Current cell’s index implementation in any way, to sync the playlist with RG.

Does this work for horizontal scrolling of an RG?

Hello @metamedian

Yes, it does work in the horizontal scrolling. You should use the “DetectScrollonRG” and specify the ID of the repeating group.
