Ridely Template with Stripe Marketplace Plugin

Ok, here is my issue(s).

I am using the Ridely Template with Stripe Marketplace plugin.
The RIDER signs up for a new account.
The RIDER then clicks “Become a Driver”.
After completing the new driver setup, the user is given a stripe account ID number.
HOWEVER, once the user is signed up as a driver, that user is unable to receive requests when a RIDER makes a request for a trip.

So when I look at the DATA for that user, “stripe_status” is blank. If I change this to “yes” directly in the database, then the new DRIVER will be able to recieve requests. When the driver clicks “Finish Ride”, the user is charged for the transaction but this transaction does not appear in my stripe dashboard.

The transaction appears in the EVENTS log, but never shows as an actual payment.

I contacted Stripe customer support and they sent me this:

*Thanks for taking the time to look this up for this over the phone. Here at Stripe we are doing our biggest effort to provide you the best assistance possible, our aim is to make your experience gratifying. For that reason, I’ll be glad to review this situation.

*After some research, we were verifying the information available in the Dashboard and it looks like your integration is collecting the customer’s details but is not triggering the payment itself. No payment request were being sent to us even if it looks like Checkout Sessions are being completed, this Checkout session does not have an amount to it – meaning the charge is not going through as it should:

*Stripe: Sign in

*You can check this article for additional information about it:

*In this case it is necessary to check how the integration is being handled considering that we only display the information that is sent to us by the plugin. On our end the account is ready to receive payments once this gets fixed but for now we don’t have additional insight about it. You can check this with your developer to clarify what might be going on.

Hello, @micusmediagroup
Thanks for using our template and for reaching out

I’ve tested the described scenario, however, all is working properly on our side.
Thus, I suppose that the issue can be related to the Stripe Configuration within your application.

In order to investigate it, I will be grateful to receive the screenshot of your current Stripe settings. Also, please check if in the browser console is displayed any errors

Looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Hi @Ecaterina

I added support@zeroqode.com as a developer within my Stripe dashboard.

You should be able to check the settings.

Please review, because the payments are not showing in Stripe.

Hello, @micusmediagroup

Please allow me to note repeatedly, that we need to receive the screenshots of the current settings within your application.
Without these details, we are unable to investigate the possible reason for the error.

As for access to the Stripe dashboard, please allow me to note that our support team isn’t able to enter the user’s accounts in the Stripe and other professional platforms. I’m afraid that it is beyond our responsibilities.

We are willing to help you as soon as possible, thus, please share with us the details for the investigation
Best regards,

Hi @Ecaterina

here is the screenshot of my Stripe settings.

I saw in another post that the support team was able review another user’s app via being added as a collaborator. I apologize. I didn’t know you couldn’t do that.

I just thought it would be easier.

Hello, @micusmediagroup
I’m sorry for misleading you

Indeed, our support team can access the user’s app in order to find the bug or help with the configuration of some parts of the template\plugin, an an exception :slightly_smiling_face:
However, we do not enter the Stripe platforms ( or any other platform), I’m afraid.

So, first of all, the issue can be with the configuration of the Workflow, but not in the Stripe Dashboard.

Please share with us the screenshots of the Workflows for the Stripe in your applications

Looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Hi @Ecaterina

Here are the screenshots for my " When Button Finish a Ride is clicked" for the stripe paid plugin:

Now, I realized that the stripe plugin is working properly and that I was in development mode in my bubble app and I needed to deploy and then try a live transaction. So now I think this is not an issue anymore.

Now the issue that I have is that the Mapbox map only appears in development mode but not in live mode.

In live mode, the app will not calculate the costs for the trip.

Please assist with this.

Hello, @micusmediagroup
I’m happy to hear that you have rolled up with the Stripe issue.

As for the Mapbox Map plugin, can you please let me know if you entered both keys here?

Also, please provide the screenshot of the error in the Live Version from your browser’s console.
It will help to understand the possible issue

Best regards,
Ecaterina

Hi @Ecaterina,

I have entered my mapbox API keys in the plugin settings.

I am still having issues with the stripe plugin…when I am logged in as a rider and I am on the payments section, I am unable to add a payment when I click the add card button.

When logged in as a driver, I am not navigating to the next screen when I click the “Add Stripe” button.

I made a video highlighting this issue:

This is the message I get when I click “Start Now”:

Also, here are the screenshots you asked for:

Hi @Ecaterina

I figured out why I could see the map in development mode but not in live mode.

I noticed that when I toggled between paid and free plugins via the admin page, the settings were not saving.

Here is the fix for this.

Once the app is deployed, you have to go into the database app data > all variables and change the access rights to “yes”.

Now I can see the map in development AND live modes.

@Ecaterina

I figured it all out. For some reason, when deploy your app live, you have to manually put the API key in the database.

Hello, @micusmediagroup
Sorry for my late assistance in your issue

Happy that you were able to fix it by yourself

In case I can assist you with anything else- let me know.

Best regards,
Ecaterina
