Saving Avatar plugin outcome in a field of Image type

Hi there,
I bought Avatar plugin and I wonder if the avatar plugins outcome (Avatar URL) can be used to populate a field of image type. (User profile photo in my case)

I tried to update profilephoto field with the avatar’s URL but it did not work. It was always showing the default (initial) avatar not the randomly generated avatar.

Kaan

Hello, @kaanaksoy8
Thanks for using our plugin.

We can suppose that the main reason for reverting on the Default Avatar is the wrong way to save created Avatar by the user (Data Source).

Please provide us more detail on your current settings, (Image element properties, that you use to display the current user’s avatar), which is used in your application. Additionally, you can add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators to your application. This will allow us to check your settings and run some tests to fix the mentioned problem.

To add our Support Team as a collaborator, you need to do the following steps in the Bubble Editor:

Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com
Also, please indicate the page where you added the plugin element.

BR,

Hi @Ecaterina
Thanks for your reply. I forgot about this question so sorry for the late reply.

Before I go any further I want to clarify whether we can save the Avatars in the field of IMAGE type.
In Zeroqode’s example the avatars were saved as URLs. I would like to save them as images.

Hello,
Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to save your Avatar as an image type instead of a URL type. This feature forms a part of the functionality of the Avatar Creator plugin.

Thanks for understanding.
