Screenshot the Group - Can't access file URL

Hi Team Zeroqode,

I am using your plugin “Screenshot the Group” to create a default profile photo for a user. I am trying to then save this image to the user’s profile. However, I can’t figure out how to access the image URL from the previous step to the make changes to the user’s profile, ideally ‘result of step 1 image file’s URL’ and then saving it to the user profile photo field (which is set as an image).

I also tried to save the image URL as a custom state (of type text) but couldn’t get that working either.

I also can’t search the database and get to files – I only see my data types.

Any suggestions?

Hi @laura1,

Glad to hear from you again!

The file URL generated by the plugin can be found in the “Screenshot” element state, named “Created File URL”. After the file has been successfully generated and uploaded to the file manager, the state will be populated with the URL.

I highly recommend using the “Image Exported Success” plugin event, which triggers when the URL becomes available. This ensures the URL is present when saving it to the database.

You might already have the “Export Image” action and other actions to save the file URL in a single workflow, but the issue is that the save action is being triggered before the data is available.
