I have the selectize dropdown loaded in a popup that selects a category of a data type. When I close the popup and open another data popup, the dropdown keeps the previous initial value and does not refresh with the category associated with the parent group.

Regarding your question, to ensure the element is always refreshing, you can select the “Auto-refresh” checkbox for the element. This will make sure the element is always updated.
