Set zoom value using workflow (map extender)

Regarding: Zeroqode’s Bubble’s Google Map Extender Plugin Bubble's Google Map Extender Plugin for Bubble | Zeroqode

How can I set the zoom value of a map using a workflow that runs when a button is pressed?

I tried the normal method in bubble of setting the initial zoom value of the map extender object to be determined by a custom state value, and then updating the custom state and then performing the “Reset map mapextender” action, but this doesn’t work (zoom stays the same as originally initialized).

Better yet, is there a workflow action to “Set zoom and center map based on map markers” like other plugins support (such as the “Google maps extended” plugin)?

Regretfully, the current plugin functionality doesn’t provide such a possibility.
The developer team will check if a such a feature can be added in future plugin updates. If any news will appear, i will let you know asap.

Thanks. Are you aware of any workarounds? Even the basic bubble map element supports workflow modification of zoomfactor, but your extender appears to break that functionality too.

Where is this on your list of priorities? Seems pretty basic, especially for a plugin that I paid for, when you consider that there are free alternatives from the upstarters which have this baked in. Disappointing…

This update is expected in the nearest days (the improvement also should pass through a test, to avoid any interference with other plugin features). Once it will come to live, I will let you know first.

Here is some good news before the weekend.
We have pushed a plugin update, that has added the zoom action.

To check changes, please upgrade your plugin to the latest version (Version 1.40.0: Added “Set Zoom” action) and give it a try.
