Setting up Agora plugin videoconferencing API

Hi, I’ve just subscribed to this plugin but am unsure what to put in the field “Authorization - shared headers”. I watched the video but unfortunately there is an ad for the next video that pops up right on that section…I looked at the demo editor and can see that it should begin "Basic " but what do I add in after that, is it the Primary Certificate (as the live streaming one uses) or something else?

Please can you also confirm that I should be using the element “Agora RTC” rather than “Agora connector - deprecated”?

Thank you

Hello @debbie,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The “Authorization - shared headers” is utilized for the recording functionalities of the plugin. It is optional, but if you choose to use it, please refer to this documentation(link) where all the necessary setup steps are outlined. Regarding the deprecated elements, you are correct; you should use only the AgoraRTC. We will remove the deprecated elements in the next update.

If you have any further questions or encounter any difficulties, please let us know so we can address them promptly.

Thank you once again, and I wish you a great day ahead!

Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Stephan

That’s great, thank you very much. Just to clarify, it seems I need to have Agora recording set up AND additional paid storage from somewhere else, is that right?

Hello @debbie,

Thank you for your message.

Setting up a storage account in Agora is optional, you may choose to save recordings in your personal S3 account if you prefer. It’s entirely up to you whether or not to use this feature for your app.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance.

Thanks again, and have a wonderful weekend!

Best regards,
Stefan
