Signi in with apple - Authorize user Error

Hello, @jellowfishx

I started an investigation of your application and defined, that you are trying to use our keys ( the keys, which are used in the Backend workflow). Please find the screenshot with comparison below:

I’m afraid that the plugin will not work with our keys in another application. The keys are linked to all the IDs in your application and they cannot be identified.

As for the settings of the plugin, they are correct. So, the plugin works properly, but due to the incorrect keys, it doesn’t bring a positive result to your application.

Unfortunately, but I can’t create the keys instead of you, but please note that you have copied the wrong key here:

Please just try to find the correct one, but not our Demo key, and let me know about the result.
Will be perfect if you will record a video with the process of signing up, after completing the key.

Please note that information here is the correct one:

It means that you just missed or misplaced keys in the Backend Workflow.

I really willing to help you, thus, please check one more time this part of the documentation:

Looking to hear you soon.
Best regards,

Hello,
For the private key, this is exactly what I told you in the past messages! The private key generated by the action in MY APP is the same as yours!!! and it is not my DOING.

I did not copy paste anything, here is a video of when I create an “authorize user” action, so you can see that I did not copy paste anything!

As i told you, the action generated gives me the same key as yours, which is at the source of the problem! So maybe your team can have a way to give me the key from the ID i put in my plugins ID, because as we could both see the key generated here is wrong.

Please don’t tell me not to copy paste, I did not copy paste anything, I created a new action and this is what came up!
Thanks for your help.

Hello, @jellowfishx
Thanks for the details.

Please allow me to discuss this issue with our Developer team because duplicating the keys - really strange behavior.
I will do my best to revert with a response asap.

Best regards,

Hello, @jellowfishx

We have analyzed your video one more time and found the issue of the same keys :slightly_smiling_face:

When you press on the mentioned steps in the Bubble Editor (as on your video), you will see OUR keys. You should replace them with your own keys.

Pressing on the “Apple Signin - Authorize User” generates not your keys, but just shown you our keys ( in order to demonstrate how they should look).

The keys should be downloaded in a simple file on your computer. When you generate them, the file is automatically downloaded. Seems like it just went unnoticed. Can you please take a look at the file in the “Download folder”?
Private Key - get this key from the file that you downloaded while creating the Key ID at https://developer.apple.com/.

So, when you will find this file, you just need to clean it from /n characters and paste into this section :slightly_smiling_face:

Please try to find it and let me know about the result.
Best regards,

Hello, this is the answer thank you.
I’m feeling quite shameful because even after reading again and again the documentation, the fact that the private key field was already full when I generated the action pushed me to think that you were generating the key for me, not that I needed to open the .p8 file (which I really dont know was a text file).
Thank you very much for your time and generosity,
Have a great day/end of week

Hello, @jellowfishx
I’m sorry for this misunderstanding.

We will take a look at this point in order to avoid similar situations in the future
I hope you already found the document and filled the key into the required field.

In case you will have any additional questions on this matter - please let me know!
Best regards,
