Smart Calendar Booking System - ISSUE!

Can someone please help me with this issue. I have no experience in this industry and i’m using these videos as steps to follow and i’ve hit an issue. In the second video towards the end around the 19 minute mark i’m getting this issue:

Can someone please assist me on how to remedy this issue?

You haven’t validated your app with Google so you are in ‘test mode’ - that means you have to manually add the tester emails in your google developer console to have access to the google integration.

I’m on the google developer page, where do I find the “add test email” location? Sorry, but this is my first go at all this.

As it was mentioned, you haven’t authorized emails that have access to your app. For that, you have to go to your project inside the google dashboard. And you can either choose Publishing status - In Production, in this way, anyone can connect to your app but they will get the notification for security reasons that your app was not verified by Google and you can still skip this and allow access to the calendar data. Or choose the Testing mode and add manually the list of emails that are allowed to access your app, these changes are also done inside your google dashboard - Screenshot by Lightshot

If the issue still persists, please consider rewatching that course lesson and check if you followed the required steps.

I’m going to mention again that i’m not in this field and have no experience in this field so i’m using your tutorial videos as a step by step. The problem with the videos is they leave out or assume you have certain information and they are several years old so the layout of certain pages (ex google developer, stripe, etc.) don’t even look like what these videos are doing.

With that being said, the link you sent me goes nowhere (see attached) and now i’m getting an entire new error message (see attached). I can’t find “publishing status” anywhere in google developer. How do I manually add tester emails? Can’t find an area for that either.

I don’t know how to get ahold of the right person as it seems there is no direct contact for support. I’m going to need a refund here as your videos leave out a lot of information leading to minimal to no success on my end. As you can see, I haven’t made it past the second video on three different componets i need because the video just assumes you have done thing previously.

Please direct me to the person that can refund my money.

I completely understand your feelings and regret for this kind of misunderstanding has happened. From our side, we always try to ensure all our users are provided with a clear product description and are free to ask as many questions as they need before the purchase.

In this course, there are seven lessons witch are made for instruction purposes and are showing how to work with an external API call from Google.
Basically, this course covers up mostly the workflow process and is less focused on design, which can be different for each use case.

The Google and Stripe services are constantly changing their design to look more user-friendly and it differs from our course, but the main functionality stays the same.

Every error that you are getting from Google services comes with a short description, for instance, error 400 means redirect URI mismatch, which means when you preview your bubble app and try to connect to a google account, that URI is not included inside your dashboard.
Also please check once again your API Connector settings inside your Bubble app, sometimes a missing letter or a checkbox might cause issues. So it’s better to follow our video one more time on how to set it right.
Please make sure you have an existing event in the Google Calendar of the user you are login in.

I was under the impression I could do this myself but it was a tutorial but i cannot because i’m not a develoeper. It is extremely difficult to follow these videos because when one thing doesn’t line up it messes everything up. It’s not just google, it’s with bubble as well, for example: the guy is dynamic linking price per square foot in the video and it doesn’t tell you have to get price in the database. I’ve tried text, number, etc. and nothing works. Now i can’t go any further because it assumes you know certain things.

Can you please issue a refund as i’m going to have to hire someone to help me with this.
