Sudden issue with Brevo Plugin (Ex Sendinblue)

Hi,
For a couple of weeks now, I’ve been experiencing an issue with the Brevo Plugin everytime I send an automated email from a Bubble workflow. It worked just fine and for no apparent reason it just started to bug.
The email is sent but sometimes it interupts the workflow and whatever is after the “Sendinblue” action in the workflow, is not triggered.
I get a javascript error message “This Plugin API call is not properly initalized, please contact the plugin author to report the problem.”. See screenshot attached.

it happens on Production and Development

Here is a link to a video that shows the issue.

Reproduction steps:
When I try to sign up to the app via the “S’inscrire” button in the header, and then choosing a method to sign up, I get this error message. Sometimes it does not stop the workflow (sign up with Google) but it displays the message (first example of the video attached). So everything seem to work but I got this message.
Sometimes, I get the error message and it stops the workflow. In the second example of the video attached, I should be redirect after signing up, but I stay on the same page.
It used to work just fine until a couple of weeks ago or so.

I contacted Bubble support and they recommended to reach out to you.

Could you please have a look and come back to me please?

Hope this is clear enough. Let me know if you need further information.

Thanks for your help!
Best,

Carlos

Hi @mon.petit.site.web,
Thanks for reaching out!

Due to the fact that we have some additional questions regarding your settings, can you please add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators to your application? This will allow us to check your settings and run some tests to better understand the problem.

To add our Support Team as a collaborator, you need to do the following steps in the Bubble Editor:

Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com

Note: avoid the warning message regarding the plan, as we are an agency and you can easily add us to your collaborators.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Gulce

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply!
I’ve just added the address. What rights do you need?
This is what I’ve set up. Let me know if that works.

Best,

Hi @mon.petit.site.web,
Thanks for providing access!

It would be helpful if we have edit rights to create and make changes to a test page within your app (we will create a separate test page to perform plugin tests on it and copy the page where you have faced the issue).

Ok, you should have edit rights now.

Thanks! @mon.petit.site.web

We will check and get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi @mon.petit.site.web,

I simply deleted mentioned action and added it again. Additionally, I verified and entered the appropriate JSON body parameters in the “body” field of the newly added action. Everything seems to be working fine now.

Could you please try copying the action from the “zq_test” page and pasting it into your page? Let me know if it works for you as well.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Gulce

I Gulce. Thanks for your reply. I deleted and recreated all sendinblue actions and it is now working.
It took me a while but now everything is working again.
I’m just wondering what triggered the bug on the first place.

Thank you.
Best,
Carlos
