Hi, I purchased this plugin but the TTS voices aren’t being selected correctly. The Google “England” (the forum won’t let me use the letters U and K together) English Female seems ok, but the Google US English one defaults to one of the horrible Microsoft ones. The Google England English Male is also the England English Female voice. This happens in your demo page as well.

I created a simple HTML page to try the voice API in Chrome and it works well when selecting the voice object. So I know it’s not my browser. Does your plugin select the voice object from the list of available voices, or just the name of the voice?

Thanks for reaching out and for the detailed report!

We’ve confirmed on our end that some of the voices are indeed defaulting incorrectly or using the same voice when they should be different. This is definitely an issue we need to investigate.

Great news! We’ve fixed the voice selection issue you reported and checked everything is working correctly in our updated demo.

The new version with the fix will be deployed soon. Once it’s live, all voices should be selecting and playing as expected without defaulting incorrectly.
