Totally Lost with the Text File Convertor - Binary or Base64 Plugin for Bubble

I paid for this and I am completely lost. Though the page mentions documentation, I couldn’t find it anywhere. I tried the demo and it encoded some pdfs, but when I decode them it outputs gibberish using lots of strange characters.

My goal is to send pdfs from Bubble to Hirelake.ai using its API. Hirelake’s API accepts pdfs.

I was able to put the element in my Bubble editor, but when I enter preview mode it disappears.

  1. Where can I find documentation or a video tutorial on how to use the File Converter - Binary or Base64 Plugin in Bubble to upload files, encode them, and store the encoded string in a database?
  2. If I want to send PDFs from Bubble to Hirelake using its API, do I need to include a decoder on Hirelake’s end?

Hi @jon6, thanks for reaching out.

Regretfully, this plugin doesn’t support PDF files, being able to work only with text files like .txt, .rtf .doc
Sorry about that.

Please let me know if there are any other plugin-related questions that I can help with.

Regards,
