We’re happy to share a new update regarding the Mapbox Maps for Bubble Mobile Plugin.

We have just published version 1.29.0, which introduces highly requested actions and states to give you more dynamic control over your map markers and boundaries. These improvements are designed to make your mobile mapping experience more responsive and interactive.

:zap: What’s Being Updated

:arrows_counterclockwise: New Actions & States

  • Update Marker Position: Move an existing marker to new coordinates dynamically.
  • Update Multiple Markers: Efficiently update the positions or data for several markers at once.
  • States for Bounds: New states to track and use the map’s current north-east and south-west boundaries.

:hammer_and_wrench: Why This Update?

  • Real-time Interaction: Better support for apps tracking live locations or moving assets.
  • Improved Performance: Updating multiple markers in one go is more efficient than individual calls.
  • Enhanced Filtering: Use the new bounds states to trigger workflows or filter data based on what the user sees on their screen.

No breaking changes are expected with this release. To start using these new features, please update your plugin to the latest version (1.29.0) within your Bubble editor.

Hi everyone,

We’ve just released a new update for the Mapbox Maps plugin! :rocket:

Update Details

  • New Version: 1.184.0
  • Improvement: Added the ‘Show on hover’ field to the ‘Create Clusters’ action.

This addition gives you more flexibility in how your map clusters behave when users interact with them, allowing for a more dynamic user experience.

Getting Started

To use this new feature, head over to the Plugins tab in your Bubble editor and upgrade your Mapbox Maps plugin to version 1.184.0.

I highly recommend checking out the official documentation and our demo editor to see the updated logic and UI in action before implementing it in your app.
