In the collections database there are a number of phantom/part collection entries. On investigating they appear to add into the database when down voting or upvoting a collection by a user or when adding a product to the collection?! There is nothing in the workflow to encourage this behaviour. I am curious if this is something that has been encountered by anyone else. From looking at the demo database- there seems to be similar activity showing in there. It’s not causing major problems, but I do need to keep deleting the entries down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We investigated the reason for the blank DB entries on our page and have found the root cause.
Please note that I’ve pulled the template’s update, so you will be able to upgrade it and work without mentioned issue.
In case you don’t have the possibility to start all changes from the beginning and need just to fix the issue, please find below the screenshots of the actions, which should be changed for the correct saving the collections:
So, please check these settings, remove the “Create a new collection” and give it a try.
