I recently bought the Uplance template, and I believe it has a bug: it allows freelancers submit proposals (aka apply) for the same job multiple times. Does anyone have an idea how to fix it?
Issue:
- When a freelancer submits a proposal, then the submit button text is replaced with text “withdraw proposal”. This is great and as intended
- However, if the freelancer refreshes the page, then the template forgets the above and it can submit again
Root cause (just my thinking, I’m an early bubble user)
- Uplance uses a custom state to define whether a freelancer already submitted a proposal. Custom state is forgotten when refreshed
- I also see that there’s an attempt in the workflow to exclude users who submitted earlier (i.e. when “joboffers list doesnt contain freelancer”), however, I don’t think it works
