Uploading to Subfolder in Azure Multi-Uploader

I’m trying to use the Multi-Uploader to upload to a sub-folder in an Azure container. There isn’t a directory option in the settings so I tried to set the container name as “container-name/folder-name”. This gives an error saying that the container name format is not correct. Is it possible to direct the files to a specific folder in Azure?

Thanks!

Hi @neeraj.shah,
Apologies for the late reply.

Yes, it’s possible. You need to specify it in the Azure Container Name field. Please check out our documentation: Advanced Multi Uploader Plugin

I’m looking to store it in a folder within a container. For example, if the container name is
my-container, I want to store it in my-container/my-folder. I tried to set the container name field as my-container/my-folder, but I got the error message Invalid Container Name.

@neeraj.shah, could you please share the error message screenshot?

Here is a screenshot of the error message:

Here is how I provided the container name:

If I remove /folder-1 from the container name, it works fine and loads the files into the root container-1 directory.

If you provide an additional field for a directory structure in the settings, then your upload function can append that in front of all the upload files, and the files should be stored in the proper folder. Azure doesn’t need the user to actually create a directory. Just setting the file name as directory//sub-directories//filename automatically creates the appropriate directories if needed. I added two slashes in the example because the forum editor does not display only one slash. We only need one slash in the directory structure. If this is possible, that would be helpful. Or if you have another workaround, that would be great too.

Hi @neeraj.shah,

Let us please investigate it. I will get back to you as soon as I have any news.

Have a good weekend ahead! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @neeraj.shah,
Thank you for your patience.

I am sorry to bring quite sad news but currently, our plugin does not support sending files to any folder within the container, unfortunately. Hope for your understanding.

Best regards,
Gulce

OK, thank you for checking.
