This is done mostly for a better user experience, thus, the user can check the URL and find at what step or stage he is. Additionally, the plugin will get you a better SEO rating, as it can help with search engine optimization (SEO).
Therefore, when accessing the page by the customized URL it will not let you see the actual content on that page, as it does not redirect you to that specific page.
