Hi, I’ve used the Zerocode Background Video Plugin on my site and it works fine on multiple browsers in preview mode, but when I deploy to production it doesn’t show the vide, instead it’s maroon/dark brown color. Just keen to get this working

Sorry to hear about the issue you got with our Background Video plugin. I would like to help with fixing the issue from your side. In order to clearly understand what might cause the issue, I would like to ask you to share more details about your case.
It would be best to (1) make a screen record of your screen with the related plugin settings from your Design/Workflow tab. Afterward, (2) please ‘preview’ the page so I can see that the plugin works in test mode. (3) Deploy your current version to Live and load the page so I can see how the plugin element will behave eventually.

It would be great if you will send a screencast with the Background Video plugin behavior when in Development mode, then deploy the website and show how the plugin behaves afterward.
As well, please send me the link to both the live and test versions of your website so we can check it from our side.

Please let me know if you have in your live version of the database the same ‘BackgroundVideos’ data, same as on the test version? It was not shown on your screencast so I have to clarify this point as the plugin has to have the datasource to display on the live (from the database) as well

Hi Greg, the Videos weren’t updated in the live version, I’ve now updated these and its working on desktop, however the videos still aren’t working on mobile. I’ve tried Chrome and Safari Browsers/

Hi @chris5, hope this message finds you well.
Unfortunately, devices on iOS will not play any videos except the ones with .mp4 format.
Please make sure that you are using this format when checking the plugin on your side.
After some tests on our side, we can see that the video is played on Android devices. Please upload the videos in.mp4 format and test them for yourself.
