Wasabi Plugin Presigned Links not working?

Hi,

The wasabi cloud storage plugin seems to be no longer generating the correct presigned link. It was working as of 24 hours ago. Here’s the link I get: https://podcast-episodes.s3.us-central-1.wasabisys.com/Tribe%20of%20Leaders/139/TOL%23139%20(1).mp3?AWSAccessKeyId=QYXOUQ3O1BWCU4VUT31N&Expires=1660491294&Signature=9hY%2FIb6KW%2BB4HHfr8YRujuVnBMA%3D&X-Amzn-Trace-Id=Root%3D1-62a9fc17-6075933c63ad77d2490da021%3BParent%3D37caef074ef8148c%3BSampled%3D0

Hi @kevin1, thanks for your message.

Hi @kevin1, thanks for your patience.

We have pushed a plugin update, that has fixed the issue with the presigned URL feature.

To check changes, please upgrade your plugin to the latest version (Version 1.64.0: fixed action "Generate Presigned URL) and give it a try.

If there will be any other support required, please drop a message.

Regards,

Hello @Serg

There’s probably something I do not catch.

I used to send Bubble storage files by email with an action.

Since i use Wasabi, it is not possible to send file from wasabi in attachment. The file seems not accessible so the email is not send. Same for generating a pdf with pdf conjurer by exemple, to add image files from wasbi in the pdf, it cannot access files from wasabi (I setup rules like in your doc).

I used to save thr file url in a file field in the user table. This file opens well within the app, but any other action is not possible.

So this morning I’m trying to use the presigned url action, but seem it is not working. I upgraded the plugin to latest version.

So for test purpose, I set a state with the file from the presigned action but when I’m trying to view this file in incognito mode in chrome, it is access denied. Where am I wrong ?

I’m totally stuck with my files on wasabi and no way to attach them in an email or to create a pdf. I also try with the retrieve file action, but no way to put them in a mail attachment.

Hi @sarahesteve, thanks for your message.

To use the uploaded file URL in your actions, you need to retrieve them from your bucket or use the “Last uploaded files” state of the plugin element (please note that as you get information from a third-party resource, a small pause between upload and retrieve actions might be required).

Allow me to recommend checking the “Generate Presigned URL” workflow on our demo editor, as a setup reference: Appkit | Bubble Editor

Also, please be sure to indicate the filename with path correctly, in your case you can expose the path in a text field and compare it with an actual path to file.

In case even after checking the issue will persist, please share in DM a screencast (I suggest using the Loom tool) with the setup and use case flow in a step-by-step mode.

Regards,

okay ! I sent you a dm @Serg
