ZQ RTE Lite - how do I add photos to mentions dropdown?

Hi Zeroqode,

I love your ZQ RTE Lite plugin. I’m using the Mentions feature and I’m curious about whether there is a way to include a photo in the dropdown selection process? This would help my users find the right accounts especially for people/companies who share names. This would be a huge priority for me.

Any workarounds to make this work? If there is no way to make this fit within the dropdown, HTML tricks even?

Regarding hashtags, I’d love a way to be able to populate the amount of uses the hashtag has had (which I keep track of) but would need a caption option within the dropdown.

Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the current plugin version. We will take into consideration the ability to improve the plugin and create the mentioned option for future plugin updates.
We need to see how feasible it will be.

Can you please provide us with more details regarding this request? Currently, it is not clear that do you mean by “populate the amount of uses the hashtag”

Thank you for your time and response. If I paid to have photo population feature built in, could this be something we could make happen?

Please think of the hashtag detail as just a text caption. I just need a text caption to appear in association with the hashtag. From my end in dev, I can assign a count to each hashtag regarding the amount of times it has been used. Thanks.

I’m afraid that our team does not offer the custom improvement of the plugins per the user’s request
We discussed internally the possibility to create this feature and when it will be implemented - we definitely will notify you

Creating Hashtags is possible with our RTE plugin. Allow me to provide you with an example of the settings for this case:
