Services Plugins FAQs

Apple Sign In - Please try again later

Hi, I am having the exact same issue as the user from this topic, Apple Sign In - - #28 by Ecaterina

I have read through everything, again and again and still cannot get it to work, could you kindly offer some assistance?

Thanks

Hi @andrewlane86,

Thanks a lot for reaching out to us and please accept my apologies for the delay over the weekend

Could you please confirm that you’ve double checked the added URLs in the project? Did this behavior suddenly appear, or have you just set up the plugin and are experiencing the same issue as the thread you’ve liked? A bit more information would be helpful in providing you with more accurate support!

I hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards :sunflower:

Hi, thanks for coming back to me. I was setting it up for the first time and was trying to find a solution from other members when I came across the thread that I linked in my first post. I have typed and re-typed everything out over and over again, have various errors, but am stuck on the please try again one.

Please see attached screenshots:

Hi @andrewlane86,

Thanks a lot for the information

I’ll discuss this issue with the developers and get back to you as soon as possible!

Best regards :hibiscus:

Any update? Very keen to get this fixed ASAP.

Thanks

Hi @andrewlane86,

As the current plugin on our end is functioning as expected, I suspect that there might be an incorrect setup on your part. However, the developers are currently investigating into this behavior and should get back to me soon!

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time

Best regards :sunflower:

I have tried this numerous times, deleting, renaming and trying again and again, happy to share details to access the bubble account and Apple Dev account to get this sorted as I am pulling my hair out about it.

Also, my Plugin Page for this on the Bubble Background looks odd, its got a load of code, see attached.

I also have attached this Screen Recording from my iOS App on my phone:

Please help me, it has been over a week since I installed a plugin what I had hoped would be a 10 minute job

Hi @andrewlane86,

Apologies for the delay over the weekend.

The developers have provided me with some steps to investigate the behavior you’re experiencing.

  1. Could you please confirm the Service ID inserted in the plugin settings is the one provided when creating the identifier?
  2. Please place the element along with the actions on any page mentioned in the “Return URLs” list, as this could be the cause of the warning.
  3. If these steps don’t work, could you please recreate your Apple credentials and follow the instructions in our documentation?
  4. When trying to log in via the browser, could you please inspect the login tab and open the console to see if there are any errors?

After completing all these steps, if the issue persists, feel free to add us as collaborators, and we can take a deeper look. However, let’s check these points first.

Regarding the code in the plugin description, the bubble marketplace requires BBcode, but it’s not displayed correctly in the plugin settings. This is a normal occurrence and doesn’t affect the plugin’s functionality.

Also, I wanted to mention that we don’t guarantee that the plugin will work correctly in a wrapped environment. Since we build the plugin first, all issues detected on the application and not via the browser won’t be able to be fixed!

I hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards :hibiscus:

I have followed steps 1 and 3 multiple times to no avail.

I now have the Apple Sign-in Element on the following page and visible on page load:

The redirect URL’s within the Apple console are specified as:

  1. MatchFinder
  2. MatchFinder
  3. MatchFinder

The Redirect URL applied to the element within the Bubble Platform is: https://coachespocket.com/version**-app version**/login

I again got the same error when trying and below is the text within the console when inspected

Access to font at ‘https://appleid.cdn-apple.com/appleauth/static/bin/cb3432457731/dist/assets/shared-icons.woff’ from origin ‘https://appleid.apple.com’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.Understand this error

Look forward to hearing back from you real soon.

Hi @andrewlane86,

I’m sorry to hear that none of the suggestions worked as expected. I created a new and Source ID as I noticed yout Source ID is different that the reverse domain name of your website (as Apple recommends for formatting), but the plugin is working normally as I expected.

Could you please add our support@zeroqode.com account to the list of collaborators with edit rights? The developer and I will try to confirm if the behavior you’re seeing is coming from the plugin or the identifier you created in your Developer account.

Please forward us the editor link to the application so we can successfully access it, along with any other credentials required!

We hope to hear from you soon

Best regards :sunflower:

I have added you, hopefully this means you can get in and do what you need to do, the Apple Sign-In part is on the Login Page.

Do I need to do anything on the Apple Developer side of things for you?

Thanks

Hi @andrewlane86, we’ve received the access, and I’ve taken a look at your page. Here are my observations:

The plugin element on the Login page has the Redirect URL set to the z-apple page. Please ensure that the Redirect URL exactly matches the page where the Sign in with Apple element is located. I’ve set the URL to the Login page as it should be, but I’m getting the invalid_request error. This means that the “https://www.coachespocket.com/version-test/login” URL isn’t included in the service ID.

To confirm that the plugin is working correctly, I created a new App ID and Service ID following the documentation and successfully logged in with my Apple ID. Attached are screenshots on how I set up the plugin element and the list of Redirect URLs I inserted in the Service ID.

I noticed that you didn’t add “www.” in the Redirect URLs. This could mean that the redirect URLs aren’t being used correctly. Please ensure that the Redirect URL in the plugin element matches the one in the Service ID and is on the exact page where users log in. This is very case-sensitive, so any differences should result in errors or strange behaviors, such as you experienced!

After all my testing, the plugin is working as expected. Therefore, I suspect that the App ID or Service ID you set up is incorrect!

If you need any further clarification, please let me know

Best regards :sunflower:

Hi, I have gone over the settings and I still got the same error, until I included the WWW. in the return URL’s on Service ID’s and also the Bubble Apple Sign in Element.

I will continue testing and report back if I get any further issues.

thanks

Hi, all seems to be working now with the inclusion of the www in the redirects.

It doesn’t seem to be passing the First Name and Last Name fields through though, I checked with step-by-step and these fields are both shown as ‘empty’.

Any ideas on this one?

Hi @andrewlane86,

I’m delighted to learn that the changes I suggested were indeed the root cause of this behavior!

The behavior with the name states is present because you likely logged in on the page with this Apple account before. The first and last names are populated only the first time a user logs in with their Apple ID. I tested this yesterday when I closed the investigation task!

Could you please test using an account that hasn’t been used for logging in to the app? I’ll wait for your confirmation

Best regards :hibiscus:
