AWS uploader - Can't save image width and height

Hi Zeroqode community,

It seems saving image width and height is not stable.
Especially larger images fails to save its width and height in db.

I have unchecked “Many files” to save a single image. Everything else is by default.

This is my workflow to save the image.

One thing I noticed is that the expression in the workflow seems to be for “list of files”. Is this right?

In short, I can not save an image width and height “sometime”, especially bigger images fails.

Thank you.

Hello @rio

Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please provide more details, like what type of files you’re uploading, the WxH of these images, screenshots/video of detailed workflow and setup, steps to reproduce the issue, etc so we could help you better.
Thanks.

Hi, @Dumitru

I took a video for you.

Please note that the first 2 images saved the width and height just fine, but the last one did not.
The size of the last image is about 10mb. I’m guessing the size of the image is the cause of this issue.

Thanks.

It shouldn’t even have much to do with this issue, but the AWS uploader’s CSS-related warnings are also I would be very grateful if you could respond.

Hello, @rio. Thank you for the details!

Our dev team is investigating your issue. When there will be any useful info on your case - I let you know. Thank you for your patience :pray:

Hi, @kate. Thanks for following up.

Hmm, unfortunately I still cannot get it right on 1.46.0, the width and height are not preserved. I removed the previous uploader to make sure it grabs the latest one.

I give you the exact image that keep bugging me with.

Or would you like to try it with my editor?

@rio,

I have tried to upload your image within our test page - it was uploaded and added its resolution parameters into the database with no issue.

Can you please check out and compare the setup of our test page with your app?

If it won’t help, can you please add our support@zeroqode.com email as a collaborator of your app (it can be added as a collaborator, even if you have a Hobby plan). I’ll try to help and find the root cause of your problem.

Regards,

@kate added the email as the collaborator now.
One thing weird, I got the error that says the plugin is not installed after I copy and paste the uploader from your edito.

Hi, @kate

I ran into an issue when I choose single file option.

Will you check page “test3”?
I still cannot save the width and height under this circumstance.

Thanks.

@rio,

Done. Please check out your test3 page and this video record:

Regards,

Please leave the “Allow image processing” unchecked. I need the raw image saved in S3. I don’t want the image cropped.

@rio, thank you for your patience :pray:

Our dev team has pushed the plugin update, that resolves your last issue. Now you can upload the single image file (over 10Mb) and record it’s parameters to the database table with no issue.

Please note - to record the image parameters to the database correctly, you need to comply with the following condition - you need to wait till the width/height parameters appear on the preview page, then click the “calculate width/height” button. Check this video:

@kate,
OK, it appears to be working on your end. However, the upload progress bar is stuck at the end. After waiting for a while, no parameters are displayed. Please check out my video.

Will you try it on page3 in my app?

Hello, @rio.

I’ve checked the test3 page - indeed, the behavior of the File Uploader is strange. We should investigate your app (test3) page and plugin element. It might take some time, so please wait a bit :pray:
