I have an issue, I need to add a “copy” element in a repeating group. It works with static text but it doesn’t work with element id. I need element ID since static text is copying everything with markdown format.
My question is, where should I put the element ID in the RG to make it work? I tried with the card-group but it doesn’t work.

When triggering the copy action using step-by-step mode, you’ll see exactly what the action is copying. If you’re providing the markdown element in the format you showed me, the copied text will be the same. You can try copying the value of the markdown element (if present—not sure what plugin you’re using) or use the second action shown in your video.
In the “Element ID” field of the “copy to clipboard from element” action, you need to provide the ID of the element you wish to copy. You can add this ID to an element by opening the settings popup, scrolling to the bottom in the Appearance tab where you will see the field - screenshot for reference.
If you don’t see this field, you need to enable the ID attribute in the application settings. Go to Settings → General, scroll down to the Advanced options, and enable the “Expose the option to add ID attribute” option - screenshot.

Yes, I can make it work now. I can make it copy both markdown or html.
My problem is that when I paste it, I see it as plain text instead of rich text.
Meaning, instead of seeing something bold like “example”, I see “< strong> example < /strong>” or I see “** example**”. I see the whole code in plain text.
I’m currently using all zeroqode plugins for this. Plugins:
1/ Chat conversation where I copy the text. Markdown Parser.
2/ Copy tool. Copy to clipboard.
3/ RTE where I paste the content. Modern Rich Text Editor.
How can I solve this? Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the details. I’ve tried various methods to recreate this use case, but I haven’t been successful. I’ll discuss this with the developers to see if we can achieve it!
To ensure we have all the necessary details, could you please send me a screen recording of the setup inside the editor? This should include how you provide the data in the element you want to copy from and the modern rich text editor settings where you want to paste the copied content. Feel free to include all the settings you think are important for us to know!

The developers have implemented a new action that allows you to copy the text along with its formatting. I’m will be testing it, and if everything goes well, a new update should be available soon. I’ll keep you updated when the update is deployed or if I have any further details to share
